Last Friday, I joined presenter Alex Phillips on TalkTV to discuss Labour’s first year in office (and why, in my view, Britain needs an urgent dose of shock therapy), the likelihood of Nigel Farage becoming prime minister, and the prospect of a far-left party co-led by Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana.
Excellent analysis as always Paul. Sadly I fear that this country will indeed get a shock. And very quickly. We are importing thousands of young men, of fighting age and I doubt very much that they are coming to fight on our side. Meanwhile those on the extremes of the Left openly support Islamic extremism on our streets.
You talk a lot of sense as usual Paul. It’s a shame your party doesn’t have more people with your understanding of the British public and what is important to them. As it is they have done more damage in one year than the Tories did in fourteen and the public are just not with them.
I'm old enough to remember the Cadbury's Everyone's a Fruit and Nutcase adverts but With Jezza and Sultana at the helm it'll be one Hell of Manifesto with emphasis on the HELL!
You and Alex painted a really accurate picture of where we are, given the complete incompetence of this government I am somewhat surprised that some of the old Labour grandees have not reined them in.
I also agree with another reader, your unnecessary pilloring of Trump is not appreciated or relevant here.
Enyoyed the discussion. Agreed with nearly everything you said. I apologise if that embarrasses you, my being a Conservative supporter (historically anyway). I did find your description of the elected leader of our closest ally uncalled for by the conversation at that point. I also thought that it was gratuitously rude. Still you can’t be right about everything.

I did smile when I saw the Wolves scarf hung on the door.
Strategically placed!

Thanks Paul,
