Brilliant piece Paul. We are sleepwalking into dangerous times where fundamentalists are hiring themselves about at transgressions of their beliefs. This is totally against rule of law. They organise en mass and threaten dissenters. Politicians are spineless. The law is spineless. Its a miracle democracy exists. We should fight the foes of democracy. It would seem that they are emboldened by the sycophantic response to their demands. It's going to get ugly. Much uglier
As someone who didn’t have a choice for leader in the last 2 leadership election (realise some people from my wing backed Corbyn the 2nd time and Nandy in 2020 (others Keith Cllr drill, Alan Johnson , Dave Ainsworth, Terry Vince, Maurice glasman retracted their support for Nandy) Like Cllrs Brendan Chilton, Rocky Gill

Well done Paul. The Muslims are a vocal minority group... They are also vindictive look at the persecution of the Batley teacher. Why do no MPs either Conservative Labour or Lib Dem speak up for him?
Thanks. The abandonment of the teacher is appalling. I don't think his treatment is supported by all Muslims, but it seems that the political and media classes are too scared to challenge those who do support it.
You write with such elegance, Paul, and always hit the target.
That's very kind. Thank you.
Thanks Paul for saying what a lot of us feel. Let us hope that the politicians grow a pair and we can reclaim our country.
Thanks, Alan.

You're an anti-semite. Shame on you.
