These Labour leaders seem to be afraid of governing under their own banner. If we hand over sovereignty to the EU masters then they don't have to take responsibility for any failures. "It wasn't my fault.' But with any (unlikely) success these cowards can back in reflected glory.
You are not suggesting that Comrade Burnham maybe a "Weathercock " are you Paul 😉
Have you tried sending him a copy of "Despised " ( available at all good book shops ) ?
Its clear that Andy is one of those politicians that say one thing to one audience and then something opposite to another audience depending on the polls .
A political empty vessel just like Keir but with personality.
Really good piece Paul , but I dont think they are listening, they are still upset that we had the audacity to vote the "Wrong " way .
As a support of sovereignty I believe the only way out of this libreal/progressive death spiral is to reamian sovereign and let our well paid elected politician stand or fall on the promises they made in manifesto ( whether left or right) .
Have a lovely Sunday Paul and other readers
Ps I am not commenting on the league table as the only trophy that matters to big clubs ( like West Ham) is the FA cup , the league is irrelevant 😉
They are clueless on how to manage the country. The EU provides cover and lets them outsource knotty ideological problems they are trying to avoid - trans, immigration and free speech.
Burnham reminds me of the great Woody Allen character, Zelig, who adopts the personality traits of whomsoever he stands next to.
The quest for power dominates any true values

Andy Burnham seems to me to be the reincarnation of Mr Anthony Blair who, as an avowed Fabian, just thinks nationhood is for the birds
