PODCAST: 'Islamophobia', right-wing populism and Trump's trans ban

In a wide-ranging discussion, we talked about Labour’s proposal to create a council on ‘Islamophobia’ (a fatuous term, in my view), the rise of right-wing populism in Britain, and President Trump’s executive order banning biological men from competing in women’s sports. Labour has gone the way of the Democrats under Biden between 2020 and 2024. Their priorities are all wrong and they are completely out of their depth politically, economically and socially. It's going to be a very damaging 4+ years but let's hope and pray that the damage being done will result in the same response as happened in the 2024 US Elections and a sane administration will replace them and demolish their ludicrously self-defeating anti-British policies.
Very well argued. It is sadly so rare in this current climate of self censorship.
