Labour must not betray the Brexit vote
On Friday, I appeared as a guest on TalkTV to discuss the rupture between the Labour party and its one-time working-class base. I explained why I believed this disconnect had occurred.
The discussion also focused on the government’s attempt to ‘reset’ Britain’s relationship with the European Union. I argued that any betrayal of the Brexit vote would serve only to widen the gulf between Labour and working-class voters.
