Yesterday, I spoke to Spectator TV about the Southport massacre and, in particular, my suspicion that the police had decided against declaring the incident ‘terror related’ for political reasons. I also spoke about the role of Keir Starmer in the affair and the wider issue of social disintegration in Britain that contributed to the unrest that occurred on the streets after the killings.

As always thoughtful reflections, Paul. I agree with most of what you have said. However this to me has Starmer’s fingerprints all over it. He’s forever telling us he used to be Director of CPS so we should bow to his superior judgment. We now learn that Merseyside Police were instructed not to release any information. For me there’s one prime suspect who put pressure on CPS to give this instruction.
Steven Barrett has said that it would not have prejudiced the case to release certain information.
I really wish you were PM, Paul. I’d have faith in the government’s integrity then. At the moment I’m sorry to say I don’t.
Social disintegration. Come now, we have many more miles to go yet, it's only the very faintest of cracks, soon plastered over.
