The thing with flags is that councils will pay to put up lgbtq+ , Albania, Pakistan, Ukraine etc but then complain and pay to have the English flag removed.
Personally I would appreciate if councils would spend time on things like cleaning the streets, repairing roads and emptying the bins , but I guess thats to much to ask these days ...
There's a part of me that wishes it was a game to test our patience, but we've ended up with a ruling class that has no experience outside of its own bubble.
Through government, media and culture we have a class of people who mostly all came through the same university system, mix in the same circles and hold the same opinion, reinforced over and over again.
They look down on anyone who disagrees with a mixture of pity and contempt. Anyone with a bit of power or influence who disagrees is relentlessly targeted and smeared.
Your theme is 100% accurate and relevant; I liked your reference to the UK resembling an Olympic Village.
I was going to write something to the effect that at least in an Olympic Village there was no violence, no murder, no rape committed by some of the inhabitants.
Then I paused, and remembered Munich.
I remembered 1972.
And I remembered which culture, which religion, which ‘nationality’ carried out that atrocity.
You are still a member of the political party that, more than the others, has done most to corrupt our society and turn it into the multicultural mess that we see today. Since regaining power officially in 2024 (their philosophy and methods never really left office in 2010 due to the changes they made to the civil service and their thorough infiltration of acadaemia) they have pressed their foot down hard on the accelerator. Stop giving them money. They are using it to destroy us.

I assume they flew the Indian flag the day after in honour of Indian Independence celebrations on August 15th?
We are all citizens of the world but a world government remains elusive.
