I agree wholeheartedly and mention this regularly in these comments. Paul's voice is brilliant. He's articulate, respectful and calm and we need more voices like it bit his articles would fit perfectly on Matt Goodwin's (great) Substack yet they are members of completely opposite parties. This is how topsy-turvy our politics has become. But add to this the fact that Labour are changing the rules to stop Reform receiving their big donations and applying laws retrospectively they are now fully in the path to dictatorship. I believe Paul is indoctrinated in the same way that football fans are. When I ask my husband whether if Man U and Liverpool swapped players tomorrow who he's support the answer surprises me. He would continue to support the same team. I believe that Paul is simply Labour through and through, in the same way, born and bred kind of thing and cannot vote for a party that does not have that name above the door. It seems shortsighted to me for surely one must judge people by their actions and nothing else. I've already suggested he join Reform to get back to sanity culturally and then go back to Labour once wokeness and suicidal empathy is over if that's where he stands economically. There simply is no other way to stop this slippery slope to destruction than to overwhelmingly join and vote for Reform. If people continue to support the same then they must expect the same. Expecting different in such a case is, after all, the definition of madness.
I was hoping he'd join the SDP, which is his natural home. Blue Labour and the SDP should merge, especially now that William Clouston has stepped down.

I'm a former labour member, from a long time ago, and voter. I was deeply opposed to the economic policies of Thatcher growing up. Although as a patriot I supported her position on defending the Falklands and standing up to the IRA. I'm glad Paul and the Blue labour group are in there fighting for a return to reality. If they ever succeed I'll go back to supporting labour but I'm not holding my breath!
Up here in Scotland, in Glasgow, I had the bizarre experience of Scottish Nationalist friends (I'm not a scot nat) telling me they were fuming that the whole Maryhill road area of the City had been done up in saltire and lion rampants by locals last Summer.
Also, Gartnavel NHS hospital in the west of the city was festooned in those ugly Lgbtiq+ flags during pride month. Glasgow city centre has more palestine flags flying than the West bank every Saturday afternoon.
They have no problem with that but hate working class areas putting a Scottish flag up. Utterly deranged!

I think a key issue is the easy way in which malign forces can access local government politics. If you have an objective to slowly take over a society what better way than to put yourself forward as a local councillor. Gradually your network, which speaks a foreign language as its first language, as opposed to the English language you can build and build until your views and aspirations become the norm.
Paul is right to say that Japan would never allow this to happen. Similarly would the England flag be flown over a local battlement or seat of government in Islamabad or the Red Fort in India, of course not it would be laughable. It just shows how creepy this take over has become in the U.K.
