Brilliantly articulated Paul, I agree with everything you said.
The weaponisation of DEI against the dwindling number of our hard working indigenous population is disgraceful.
We need more brave people like yourself from across the political spectrum to speak the truth rather than the lazy acceptance of the tyrannical narrative being propagated by mainstream corrupt media.
It breaks my heart Paul to know that if a woman in the Fire Service was to complain about a man in the women's rest/changing room or shower now, the Union would, I am quite certain, be supporting the man. A full volte face from the Union we once knew. It can't end well for Unions & if this continues and if Unions become mistrusted, it wont end well for any workers :-(
Very well articulated. In my last role as NED of a startup bank, I witnessed the stranglehold DEI now has on important regulators like the Bank of England. Meetings I held with them commonly started with our progress and experiences on DEI rather than were we able to raise enough capital to enable us to function as a bank. Incredible. I was so relieved to reach the end of my term as a Director and leave. Every part of business has been infiltrated and captured.
Very eloquently argued Paul. I was present at your Battle of Ideas session and it was a pleasure to meet you. Having had a career in HR I was dismayed to hear how captured many HR departments have become by ideologies in recent years. I shall always believe that meritocratic and aspirational strategies deliver the best for employer, employees and clients/ consumers. Authoritarianism and extreme ideologies simply stifle excellence.

Sorry, I missed this comment. Thanks Ann-Marie. Glad you enjoyed the session.
